Christine Najjar a sophomore forward from Richfield, OH helped lead the Pioneers to a 1-1 record last week.

Najjar scored the game-winning goal against Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) opponent Northwood University (MI) on Friday, October 18^th , giving Malone its first GLIAC victory of the season. The score remained deadlocked at 0-0 throughout the second half, until Najjar drilled a header into the net off a free kick from the left side to take the 1-0 lead with six minutes remaining. This was the first road GLIAC victory for the squad since joining the conference back in 2012.

On Sunday afternoon against Ohio Dominican University, Najjar scored a goal for the second consecutive game off a penalty shot. She now has four goals on the season.
