Donaldson, a senior safety from Southfield, Michigan, played a big role in the Pioneers' thrilling 42-35 overtime victory against Northern Michigan University on Saturday, racking up 15 total tackles and two forced fumbles while also establishing a new Malone single-game record with three fumble recoveries. 

Donaldson's final fumble recovery occured in overtime as he covered up the ball at the Malone one-yard line to seal the dramatic Homecoming win.

Following Saturday's performance, Donaldson now leads all of NCAA Division II with four fumble recoveries on the season.
