Malone University Athletics

Tyler Light, of Massillon, Ohio (Perry H.S.) and a senior on the Malone University men’s golf team, earned medalist honors at the GLIAC South Tournament this past weekend at the Winding Hollow Golf Course in New Albany, Ohio. 

Light shot a three-under-par 69 on Sunday, the only sub-70 round of the event, to follow up his round of 74 on Saturday. His two-day score of 143 (-1) was the only sub-par score of the tournament, among 74 golfers.  Malone won the event among a 13-team field with a 36-hole score of 595 (303-292).
