Veldhuizen helped the Pioneers clinch a postseason spot last week by averaging 23 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in contests against Hillsdale College and the University of Findlay. 

The senior forward from North Canton registered a career-high 34 points in a crucial 81-80 home victory against Hillsdale on Thursday.  He then moved into the Top 25 on Malone’s all-time scoring list on Saturday after tallying 12 points, four rebounds and two assists in a 79-63 defeat at Findlay
 
On the week, Veldhuizen shot 69.2% (18 of 26) from the field, 57.1% (four of seven) from beyond the arc and 75% (six of eight) from the foul line.

Following Saturday’s contest, he ranks tenth in the GLIAC in rebounding (6.1 boards per game), and is fourth in three-point percentage (45.9%).
