Oprean earned a berth to the NCAA Division II National Championships by virtue of her third-place individual finish, among 198 runners, at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Championships last Saturday with a time of 21:34 over the 6K course.

At the Wayne E. Dannehl Cross Country course on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Oprean helped the Malone women to a seventh-place finish, among a 27-team field, at the regional meet.
