Davis, a sophomore running back from Detroit, Michigan, helped the Pioneers tally a season-high 567 yards of offense in a 55-50 shootout win over Lake Erie College on Saturday.
Davis posted five catches for 123 yards and three touchdowns in the victory, finishing one TD shy of the Malone single-game record for touchdown receptions. He also netted 80 rushing yards on 14 carries (5.7 average) for a total output of 203 yards of offense.
Through seven games, Davis has registered 452 rushing yards, 219 receiving yards and accounted for a team-high eight touchdowns (five rushing, three receiving).
