Tarter, a senior from Mogadore, Ohio, paced the Pioneers to the team title, among an eight-team field, at the Malone Fall Classic last Friday and Saturday at the Tannenhauf Golf Course in Alliance, Ohio.Â
He birdied the final three holes of the event and posted a two-day total of 139 (five under par), with rounds of 70 and 69, to lead Malone to a tournament-record 14-under-par score of 562 (280-282). Malone defeated runner-up Walsh University, which finished at 598, by 36 strokes.
