Freshman guard Leslie Raifsnider helped Malone fight back from an 11-point first-half deficit in Saturday's win at rival Walsh, coming off the bench to score a career-high 15 points.
 
Nine of Raifsnider’s points came in the second half as the Pioneers pulled away for the 65-49 Mayors’ Cup victory by out-scoring the Cavaliers 39-19 over the final 20 minutes.
 
In addition to her point total, Raifsnider also grabbed six rebounds in just 23 minutes of action.  On the afternoon, she hit 6 of 8 shots from the field, including two of three attempts from beyond the arc.

The Pioneer win kept Walsh from retiring the Mayors' Cup, which occurs when either team wins three consecutive Mayors’ Cup contests.  Walsh had won the previous two Cup games but was denied a third straight.
