Malone University softball's Isabella Roberts has been named Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Pitcher of the Week for her performances last week in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Roberts helped the Pioneers to a 6-3 record in the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic.
 
The right-handed freshman from Euclid, Ohio chalked up a 3-2 record on the trip and registered one save as well. In 26.2 innings, Roberts struck out 27 batters, posting a 3.15 ERA and limiting opponents to a .206 batting average.
 
Roberts' successful trip was highlighted by her work in Malone's double-header on Thursday. In game one Roberts tossed three shutout innings to earn her first career save as Malone defeated Mt. Aloysius 3-0. Roberts then pitched a complete game as the Pioneers defeated Shaw University 12-2 in six innings.
